Farewell 2025. Welcome 2026.

In this time of transition, I wish you happiness, love and well being throughout 2026. Let's make a year filled with kindness, compassion and creativity.

2025 has certainly held challenges, but it also brought beauty. I have appreciated the opportunity for meaningful work.

I continued collaborating with the National Alliance for Drug Endangered Children on multiple projects. This is a group of amazing individuals dedicated to bringing effective training to the professions and communities who work with children endangered by substance abuse, especially by a parent or other caregiver's substance misuse.

2025 also saw the culmination of a documentary we began filming in 2020. This film, Honor In the Air: Remembering Captain Scott Alwin and the 68th AHC, was screened for audiences large and small throughout Wisconsin, as well as in California, Michigan, Missouri, Tennessee, Texas, South Carolina, and Washington D.C. After airing on Milwaukee PBS throughout November, we made the link to the film public on Youtube. Writing remains a critical creative outlet for me. When I'm not working on projects for clients I am often penning poems and short stories, some of which have been published.

I will be a 'guest' moderator for the first couple of months of 2026 for an online writers group comprised of incredible women from around the world . I will also continue running a local, in-person, monthly writer's group.

In 2026 I look forward to spending time with family and friends, exploring the outdoors, celebrating my 40th wedding anniversary with my sweet, sweet husband, spending time in meaningful work, and engaged in creative ventures.
