Tuba Ted: The Man and The Music , the award-winning documentary about the life and times of longtime tuba player and friend to many, Ted Goeden, is scheduled for a couple more showings. We are beyond delighted to continue sharing the story of Ted's adventures with new audiences.
On February 14, 2022, at 2:00pm, Tuba Ted will be shown as part of Augusta Memorial Public Library's Monday matinee series. Click here for more information.
The Marathon County Historical Museum has invited us to show the film and lead a discussion for one of their June events. We'll let you know when we have more details.
Ted Goeden is a spritely octogenerian with over 70 years under his belt as a professional tuba player. He's an engaging story teller and has had an interesting life full of adventure and meaningful interactions including playing in numerous polka and Dixieland bands, serving on a Navy aircraft carrier during the Korean war, performing in large parades in NY, getting in trouble with the KGB, owning several businesses and, without missing a beat, embracing opportunities to help others.
We hope you'll join us for either or both of these screenings.
